When Tom & Rob finally set the date for their wedding we were beyond excited about the unforgettable day we knew they’d plan, it turns out they actually planned 2 and we were lucky enough to capture both stills and video for them on both days!
The guys chose to have a small, intimate Town hall ceremony in Leeds on the Friday where 14 of their family and closest friends joined them. We spent a chilled morning at Mal Maison hotel getting ready, laughs and fun and the boys both sporting Groom caps as they ironed their shirts soaking up the excitement everyone was full of!
Tom wearing a 3 piece plum coloured suit, of course finished off with a Mrs Bowtie, true to his style. Rob wearing royal blue 3 piece suit and looking Oh So dishy with an open collar shirt, finished off with his perfect jawline! Both suits were from ASOS, they looked gorgeous!
Tom & Rob walked through Leeds city centre to the Town Hall their party in tow full of energy, stopping under the dark arches for the perfect photo opportunity.
The ceremony was really intimate and touching with plenty of tears shed, but you could just feel the happiness and love encompassing them in the room.
We spread onto the town hall steps and the boys were showered with confetti and then a short hop to Iberica where they had planned a drinks celebration in the gorgeous, cosy cellar bar where everyone mingled and chatted and drank gin before heading upstairs to the magnificent private dining room.
The décor was breath taking and a huge rustic dining table was set up in the middle for everyone to be seated around it in a beautifully, informal but personal way. There was wine and tapas, and laughter and dancing and such a blissful afternoon spent as the sun burned through the huge ornate windows.
Saturday…and it was time to party! This time the boys stuck to tradition and spent the morning separately and with their respective squads who they showered with the most thoughtful gifts as well as each other.
They both made their way to Canal Mills, Leeds travelling with their mothers where all their guests were waiting for them. One of their best friends and Maids of Honour had the privilege of a conducting their ceremony which was a totally unique and personal touch.
The boys had ensured Canal Mills was dripping in style, not to mention the awesome details they’d added outside such a hand painted (by the groom!) Beer Pong Table and bowling alley with vintage skittles! It was a gorgeously hot day so this went down storm while the drinks reception took place.
The Wedding Breakfast followed in their style where guests dined on beautiful sharing platters of roast lamb and salmon sides catered by Chapman Holmes catering. Carrying on the DIY theme Tom made his own wedding cake which was which was a masterpiece creation showing off his absolute creative talents, it disappeared seconds after it was cut!
They had also commissioned art work by Mike Winnard for use as a backdrop for the photobooth we created for them. As if all this wasn’t enough the boys had also organised for Sela Pizzas to serve up the tastiest pizza’s and burgers outside into the evening. Agent Smith was the band to get the arty going, not that this group needed much assistance but they absolutely rocked and created the most awesome party atmosphere, but maybe the tequila bar also helped with that?!?
Tom & Rob, you guys created a wedding that was so true to yourselves and unique to I know for a fact every single person adored sharing in your special days with you, us included! We are so happy we got to capture all of these memories for you!
