Emma & Lee got married at the stunning venue Newburgh Priory, just outside York this August. It wasn’t just the sun gods who were good to them, (other than a little tiny shower just as they said their vows!) but the FUN gods were certainly shining down on them too! The pre-wedding preparations were calm and tranquil as both the families, groomsmen and the bridal party busied themselves with their own tasks at the cottages. This most definitely was the calm before the most wonderfully, fun filled, epic storm! They chose to have a ceremony in the ruins of the priory which provided the most beautiful setting for the gorgeous couple and the love and happiness between them was so clear to see throughout. The reception took place in an absolutely incredible panoramic marquee set up in the Priory gardens, and rolling fields provided the most amazing backdrop for the 200 wedding guests and completed the festival type feel of the wedding. It was evident that Lee and Emma had put so much effort and time planning into their special day they were able to create a relaxed, fun, stylish day that conveyed their personalities perfectly. I can’t even begin to write about the fun they brought by having Bhangra dancing lessons and even a dance off between the two families after the wedding breakfast, it truly was the most incredible sight seeing the delight and enjoyment amongst all guest, the marquee was bursting with it! This was the start of a whole lot more dancing and the band had the dance floor filled all night. As if the wedding breakfast hadn’t been spectacular enough, a pizza train arrived and started spinning dough just as the sun was starting to go down. It truly was the most beautiful day all round. We were so honoured we were able to capture this amazing wedding day for an absolutely awesome couple! Thank you for booking us to film your wedding day!
