We were super excited about Alex and Scott’s wedding – our first time at Le Manoir Du Bout Du Point in Agnac, France our first time working with Lou at Handmade events and a Half French Half French Bride and Irish Groom who just by shear coincidence happen to live in the same suburb of Leeds as us!! Not to mention their adorable 3 year daughter who definitely stole the show and everyone’s hearts!
Alex and Scott had a traditional Church wedding in the stunning Eglise Notre Dame on top of the hill in village of Monteton. Alex arrived in true French style in a gorgeous white Citroen 2CV. The energy throughout the day was full of fun and French and Irish charm.
Their day was filled with so much love and such a strong sense of family devotion and this was made even more clear throughout the heartfelt and hilarious speeches. We have to say Alex’s Dad Jacques was one of our all time favourite Father of the Bride speech, that he delivered so wonderfully in English and French and had us laughing and tearing up on many occasions!
The day was planned impeccably by Louise Ham at Handmade Events. The flowers were provided by Jenny at Fairy Fleur both teams work around the South West of France planning stunning weddings for English speaking couples. We worked alongside the lovely David Page Photography who is also based in France.
